What advice can you give a parent in a school district of 10,000 students (16 elementary and 4 middle schools) on how to achieve the best results when dealing with beaurocrats? We have a wellness policy that is so vaguely worded that it leaves our district wide open to serve foods that are full of additives and preservatives. It seems to be a matter of applying the right amount of pressure at the right times, and we really want to maximize our efforts so we can see some real change. Any thoughts?
